Yesterday was an uneventful day. There were no major mishaps, no side-splitting peals of laughter, no ear-splitting major muppet meltdowns. There were no earth-shattering revelations or once in a lifetime experiences.

It was a typical day. And our family lived our lives.

In What Alice Forgot, she forgot a decade of her life. If that were to ever happen to me – these are the moments I’d miss most. Life simply happening.

8 a.m.

At 7:53 a.m. the stirring began and two little muppets began their day with an excited, “Mommeee.”

9 a.m.

A perfect 75-degree day, we decided to go for a jog. Lookitme being all get-in-shapey.

10 a.m.

Of course, we ended that jog at Stan’s Donuts. Muppets got to choose.

11 a.m.

Summer haircuts for everyone! Well, buzzcuts for the boys anyway.

12 p.m.

Lunchtime.

1 p.m.

As muppets sleep, I blog for you. And also watch the A’s sweep the Yanks.

2 p.m.

3 p.m.

Branching out from Nemo, we puttered around the living room and watched Cars.

4 p.m.

Park. Swing. Slides. ‘Nuff said.

5 p.m.

Flat tire on the jogging stroller, backpack full of groceries and squirmy muppets. That totally counts as resistance training.

6 p.m.

Really loving their PB&J. And Facetiming GammaJ and Papa.

7 p.m.

Bathtime!

8 p.m.

Bedtime

9 p.m.
